He advised casting it and I was pleased that we were on the same page. He x-rayed it weekly to make sure it kept its correct setting and then was showing healing. He prescribed physical therapy for 8 weeks, checking on me during this time. I’m very happy with him and will use him again (if needed) in the future.”

“I've been going to Dr. Paglia for about 5 years now. The first time was for a shoulder cuff tear. A year or so later I presented with extreme pain in my knees. Tests proved arthritis and wear and tears have caused the pain. Dr Paglia explained the situation at hand and my options for treatment clearly. Short of knee replacement the less invasive treatments-, cortisone and lubrication of the knee joints have been both successful and unsuccessful at different times. I'm very active on my legs and this adds to my pain. I also have a hereditary form of painful peripheral neuropathy from my knees down to and including- toes for the last 20 years which I feel complicates any treatment. At some point I expect my painful mobility will be so compromised that I'll have to look to the last resort- knee replacement as the solution. Dr. Paglia has proven himself to be experienced, knowledgeable and skilled, pragmatic and candid, personable and honest. His total professionalism is what I hope for in doctors. I'm so very glad he was recommended to me by another Doctor I knew.”
