– Ivan G.
“Dr. Shearin is knowledgeable and professional.”
– Susan G.
“Dr. Shearin was very personable and knowledgeable. He explained the situation with my finger and said all the right things. I felt he was very honest. If I ever need to have hand surgery he would be the doctor I would turn to. I would highly recommend Dr. Shearin.”
– Adele C.
“When I first met Dr. Shearin, he was professional, competent, knowledgeable, and so very kind. After a thorough diagnostic examination, he explained my problem and options for solutions. He took as much time as I needed to understand my situation. This type of bedside manner is lost on many doctors today, which is sad for patients. Dr. Shearin truly cares about his patients, and you can see it in how he approaches his patients, how he speaks to his patients, and how he deeply cares for his patients. He is innovative, and his skills are ahead of most others in his field. I was thrilled to have found him to perform my surgery. The first thing I did was share his name with my friends (who are nurses like me) to put his name in our network of great doctors. Nurses always know the best doctors!”
– Jane B.
“Dr. Shearin is excellent.”
– Dionel C.
“Dr. Shearin is great! He saw me In the office at the very short notice and provided me with exceptional care.”
– Viktoriya L.

“Dr. Shearin and the entire staff at Tri-County Orthopedics is top-notch. Everyone is very professional and friendly, and their processes and protocols during this difficult time of the pandemic are top-notch.”
– Susan W.
“Dr. Shearin was great. He explained my treatment options, was willing to listen to me, and answer my questions. I felt very informed when I left.”
– Bernice B.
“Dr. Shearin truly brought me back from the brink after a bad break (right wrist) that had been poorly repaired. I now have a full range of motion, sensibility, and each of my fingers operates normally. Being a cello player, it was especially important that my right hand be perfectly reconstructed to allow me to handle the bow with strength, softness, and precision.”
– Michel M.
“I am so very grateful to Dr. Shearin. He did an excellent job repairing my fractured finger. I appreciated the fact that he called me after the surgery to check up on me. It seems like he cared. I couldn’t be happier with the outcome.”
– Laura M.
“I was impressed. Dr. Shearin has a kind, welcoming, and warm demeanor. He also knew what I had based on the x-ray I had to explain to my recently retired rheumatologist what Kienbock disease means. His knowledge and experience again demonstrated as he assured me that the changes in my hand were consistent with my already diagnosed rheumatoid arthritis, which my rheumatologist said otherwise. Thank you. I look forward to my next visit.”
– Dina P.
– Lisa C.
“Dr. Shearin was great, very helpful, and friendly. He explained everything clearly, and I was glad he was the Doctor that took care of me.”
– Mike F.
“I had a Telemedicine visit with Dr. Shearin, and he was excellent. He was thorough, caring, friendly, and knowledgeable.”
– Evan S.
“Dr. Shearin came to Morristown E.R. on Easter Sunday to asses my injury after we called Tri-County Orthopedics. He came even though he wasn't the assigned doctor on call and went during the COVID 19 crisis. He answered all my questions, made sure I had the immediate care I needed, and scheduled surgery within days. He said the operation could not have gone better despite the severe injury. Dr. Shearin personally called me numerous times to check on me after the surgery. Although it is early in my recovery (1 week), the hand is already feeling much better. I could not possibly recommend Dr. Shearin or his practice more highly. I am presently in serious negotiations with him trying to get the clearance date for the first round of golf pushed up!”
– James L.
“It was a very productive appointment.”
– Joseph C.
“Due to the pandemic, we had to resort to a video call. Given a tough situation, Dr. Shearin was excellent in his effort, trying to diagnose joint pain in my index finger.”
– Raymond E.
“I broke my wrist in early 2020. Dr. Shearin was the surgeon who evaluated & treated my wrist. My experience as a patient was positive. Dr. Shearin and his office staff were responsive to my treatment, especially in this Covid-19 environment.”
– Estelle D.
“Dr. Shearin was prompt and informative.”
– Lisa G.
“I had three appointments with Dr. Shearin. Each time he came across as very professional and caring. He was a pleasure to deal with. The recommendations he made to address my broken elbow issue were excellent. I would not hesitate to recommend him or Tri-County Orthopedics.”
– Louise E.
“Excellent care with genuine concern and immediate follow up.”
– Lesa O.
