“I have never had a bad experience at Black Hills Orthopedics and Spine. This was my second time in seeing Doctor Dykstra and he has gained my total respect and trust. He is very personable and his knowledge of the subject is next to none. I know that in any surgery things can happen, but I have no doubt that my surgery will be handled the best that it can be.”

“Dr. Dykstra explained what was wrong with my hands in a way I could understand him and the process that needed to be done before he did the surgery.”
– Belinda W.
“Dr. Dykstra was fantastic. He explained everything and helped me decide to have both hands done at the same time. So glad I did. Wish I would have found Dr. Dykstra sooner. Hands are great, no more pain, numbness or weakness. The office was great and very helpful. Thank you.”
– Lisa H.
“I’ve compared my surgery results with a friend. We had the same procedure on both hands from two different surgeons and my end result far exceeds the other persons results! My PT guy said he has been doing the therapy for this surgery for over 20 years and in his opinion, Dr Dykstra is on the level of a rock star in his field. I highly recommend him. I’m currently 4 months out and have complete recovery.”
– Jeanine M.
“Dr. Dykstra listened to the reason I was there and previous treatments I had. Then he explained what his diagnosis and treatment plan involved. After explaining everything he proceeded with the course of treatment we agreed on. Afterwards he told me what to expect and set a follow up to coincide with treatment.”
– Sandra H.
“Dr. Dykstra and his team was very nice and did an amazing job on my finger injury. Thank you to everyone.”
– Sydney K.
“Dr. Dykstra explained what "trigger finger" is and what my treatment options were. His explanation was very clear and helpful. He suggested starting with a cortisone shot and what the next steps would be if that did not "cure" the problem. Fortunately, the cortisone shot has eliminated the pain and I require no further treatment at this time. Dr. Dykstra, his assistant, and the reception staff were very kind and accommodating. I could not be more satisfied. In addition, the whole process took much less time than I expected. I would like to thank everyone that worked with me.”
– Tim K.
“Everything went well, quick and informational.”
– Steven H.
“Dr. Dykstra with PA Jerome, along with AJ, Physical Therapist provided excellent customer service. I broke my left pinky finger playing softball last summer. Dr. Dykstra, PA Jerome and AJ made sure I followed their direction and helped get me back to normal. Thank you very much for all of your help.”
