“Very good. Dr. Porat explained what would happen every step of the way with my right knee replacement. The PA Sam, she was very helpful and knowledgeable also, both in the pre-op interview and the post-op. The only problem I experienced was in the Medford office with the front desk staff who seem to have an I don't care attitude. To the point where I was ready to walk away and not have my surgery with you. I would never recommend the Medford office to anyone. If it weren't for Tammy, Dr. Porat's surgery scheduler, I would have gone to Penn Medicine. She revamped my appointments to the Voorhees office, which is closer to my home for me, and talked me off the ledge so to speak. Overall I would recommend Reconstructive Orthopedics to anyone except for the Medford office.”

“Dr. Manny Porat was my surgeon for hip replacements this past spring/summer. I knew the approach I wanted done (Direct Anterior), I did a lot of research, and the journey brought me to Dr. Porat. I am 52 years old and had severe osteoarthritis in both hips. Luckily I was healthy enough and able to have both surgeries within a reasonable timeframe. Dr. Porat performed a total hip replacement on my right hip in May and a total hip replacement on my left hip in July. I was very satisfied from my first appointment with him. He was very professional, gave me a lot of information and answered all my questions. Following each surgery he checked in with me and so far my recoveries have been smooth. Using a cane within 2 weeks following each surgery . I would definitely recommend Dr. Porat.”
