My husband was able to have the anterior hip replacement last year done by Dr. Lombardi so if you need a hip check with the doctor if you are a candidate for anterior replacement as recovery time is concise. “I am a 60 year old that had both knees replaced (Total Knee Replacements) in October of this year. I must say that my experience with Dr. Lombardi and the Tri-County team was outstanding. The entire process from Doctor appointments, scheduling, pre-surgical testing, the operation itself and follow-up went as planned and without complications. I was standing within hours of the operation and walking with crutches the next day. The Pain Management Protocol used by Dr. Lombardi was quite effective. It may be hard for some to believe, but I had little to no pain during the healing and rehabilitation stages. If you are in shape, in good general health and follow the Doctors directives (medication, post-surgical activity and rehabilitation), you'll significantly improve your chances for a good result. In addition, Morristown Memorial Hospital and their staff were top-notch. I am very grateful to Dr. Lombardi, his assistant and the rest of the Tri-County team. Their care and treatment were outstanding and I was back to work in 8 weeks. Many thanks to Dr. Lombardi, this was a life-changing experience, I am pain-free and back to many activities that I avoided in recent years.”
