“I went into surgery with a 17mm leg length discrepancy. I discussed this with Dr. Borus at the pre-op appt. He said he could with the Mako Plasty procedure make it better. He was able to get ~10mm back, which made a huge difference. I’m thrilled with the outcome and his honesty, this also goes to his staff, they did a great job, and I’ve recommended them to everyone I know that is having hip or knee issues.”

“I had both hips replaced this past year, as both were deteriorated. I had broke the left hip 25 years ago, it had a plate and screws in it. I had seen a surgeon earlier who was reluctant to do a total hip replacement, and told me that he didn't think I would be able to hike much if I had a replacement. I was so happy to find a surgeon who was willing to do what needed to be done, and gave me hope that I could be back hiking again. There was no problem with this surgery. Ten weeks later Dr. Borus replaced the right hip. It took me a little longer to recover. Dr. Borus kept up with my recovery until there was no more pain, and my walk was right. I will see him again at the one year mark. I am so thankful to be able to walk without pain. I am back on the trails, even in the snow!”

“Had a total left knee replacement and was very scared and pessimistic as to how it would turn out because of things that had happened earlier with my mother and her health. Other than a slight bit of contact dermatitis on my back after the surgery, which was extremely uncomfortable, the surgery and rehabilitation went well.
