“I had carpal tunnel surgery at The Hand Center in 2023, and it was such a positive experience. I knew my trigger finger release needed to be done here, too. The staff in the office and Dr. Mastella were helpful and efficient, and all the staff I spoke to on the phone leading up to the surgery were informative and took the time to explain everything, not trying to rush. On the day of the surgery, all the staff from check-in to post-op were helpful, thoughtful, thorough, and kind. They even accommodated my request not to be put under anesthesia and do a local numbing instead, without batting an eye or making me feel bad about asking. The staff I worked with at my follow-up appointment was the same staff person who I worked with last time, and she was great, very thorough in her assessment and explaining the dosage, and what to look out for. I’ve recommended The Hand Center to quite a few other friends who need similar surgeries as well because of their level of patient care.”
